Mad can become enemy.
As i look carefully, we can't simply mad at someone without valid reasons. If you are really a hot-tempered person, i suggest you to get rid of it as soon as possible. If you're about to get angry, ask this to yourself:
1. What is the purpose of getting angry to anybody?
2. Does it benefit to people around you?
3. Does your word harms someone's heart?
It's like muhasabah. It's like you're reflecting back all things that you've done, so that in the future, it won't happen again. I myself was a bad-tempered person. But one day, i feel like i don't find any peace when i mad to someone that makes trouble to me. From that moment, I hate when i get angry to someone.
Anger is like a fire. From the small flame, it becomes bigger and bigger until one day, it causes disaster to some places. That's why in order to distinguish the fire, you are encouraged to take wudhu' or take a bath. Another tips you can do is if you're angry while standing, then you should sit. if it doesn't work, then lying on your bed. Then, if this action doesn't work, then take wudhu'.
